Yoga Basics for Every BODY!
This 3 session course (60 min/session) is designed for anyone who wants to learn the fundamentals of yoga while exploring the use of props and variations to allow yoga to meet you where you are, while gaining more confidence when attending group classes at a studio. Perfect for bigger bodies, aging bodies, less “bendy” bodies, and literally ANY body who wants to get a good solid yoga foundation tailored to their needs.
Finding variations in poses that work for YOUR unique anatomy and body mechanics leads to a positive and empowering yoga experience. This allows you to enjoy the countless benefits of a regular practice, without the feelings of competition, intimidation, or comparison that sometimes creep in when we feel “unprepared” or inadequate in a typical yoga class.
During this series you’ll learn:
- The structure and poses you can expect in most yoga classes.
- Where props can give the most support in your yoga practice.
- How utilizing pose variations can be useful – allowing you to receive the benefits of yoga, without risk of injury or the sense of intimidation/exclusionary feelings that can sometimes accompany large group yoga classes.
- Get an idea of which class styles will best meet your needs based on your level of comfort-ability and individual yoga goals.
Knowledge is Power
Cost of the series package includes one month of unlimited classes (typically $100!) at Good Karma Yoga Studio in addition to the 3 small group meetings and a workbook for you to keep and reference throughout your yoga journey. All for just $99
The group sessions will be three consecutive Saturdays, October 26th, November 2nd & November 9th at the Hartland location from 12 – 1pm.
Because this is a series it is a little bit tricky to sign up for it. Don’t worry it’s not that tricky. 😉
First you’ll need the package. It includes one month of unlimited classes and the 3 small group sessions for just $99
Then you’ll be able to enroll yourself in the private sessions and sign up for other regular weekly classes.
