This beginners class is designed for anyone who wants to learn the basics of yoga. Be empowered and have a positive yoga experience by learning versions of poses tailored to YOUR unique anatomy and body mechanics. Enjoy the countless benefits of a regular yoga practice, without the feelings of comparison, intimidation or competition that sometimes creep in when we feel “unprepared” or inadequate in a large yoga class.

Perfect for bigger bodies, aging bodies, less “bendy” bodies, recovering bodies, and literally ANY body who wants to get a good solid yoga foundation that works for their needs.

During this 3 hour session you’ll learn:

  • Basic yoga class structure and commonly taught yoga poses.
  • Useful pose variations allowing you to receive the benefits of yoga, without risk of injury.
  • How to use props for support, balance, stretching, strengthening, and resistance in your yoga practice.
  • A personalized plan of which class styles will best meet your needs based on your level of comfortability and individual goals.

The $99 cost of the session includes 1 small personal group meeting, a workbook for you to keep and reference throughout your yoga journey, & One Month of Unlimited Yoga Classes (regularly $100!) at Good Karma Yoga Studio so you can try out your new yoga practice.
